Feb 28, 2018 - The Medicine Tree Manor celebrated the reopening of its doors

The grand opening saw many attendees including manor residents and community members.
The event, held Feb. 22, featured speeches, resident choir and hand bell performances, socializing and tours of the newly rebuilt facility.
As previously reported, Medicine Tree Manor endured a devastating fire in December 2015 as it neared completion following being damaged in the 2013 flood.

Some residents may have made the move in December, but officials formally unveiled the completed Phase 1 of the Bow River Seniors Lodge on Friday.
This first phase includes 63 new units and almost immediately precedes the second phase, which will come later this year and which will boast an additional 60 units, allowing local seniors to stay in the Bow Valley.
